It has been a while since I posted anything... so here is what has been going on since my last post.
Last day of work at ARAMARK was June 30th. It was a sad day and one I thought would never come but it did. It was a Tuesday and for the rest of that Tuesday and week it was hard to think that I didn't have a job to go back to. Felt a bit like a Vacation and I would be back to work that following Monday. Well I decided to have a garage sale and use this time off to look for a job and get my house together.
I had a huge Garage sale and with my mothers help it was fantastic. I worked so hard and was up so early both Friday and Saturday. Once it was over Mom and I packed everything else up and took it to the church for good will. I was done and didn't want to hold on to anymore of it any longer. I have been known to be a pack-rat and I was glad to see it all go.
I have continued to look for jobs. Been on a few interviews but nothing is panning out. I have applied for a job at my church as the All events coordinator (which was my mothers job that she resigned from June 30th) And also as the Church Secretary. At this point this is the only lead that I have and will have my second interview tomorrow Monday August 17th. It has been nice not working but now that severance is over (only 3 weeks) and my Vacation payed out I am in need of a job. I worked at State Farm as a temp with my dad's company for a week and that was a lot of fun. But I can not keep doing these temp jobs. Hopefully I will have an answer tomorrow night.
Hayden is growing up so fast. He is now 3 years 7 months old and is so smart. A few weeks ago at church Robert (our Pastor) gave Hayden the "box" which he gives a different child each week for children's time. They are to bring something in the box to surprise us and that is what Robert focuses the children's lesson on. Well when I asked Hayden what he wanted to bring he said "shoes" Why shoes I asked....(in a voice like you are so stupid mother) he said "because it is a shoe box" I just started laughing. So Hayden took one of his shoes and one of my high heal shoes. It was a good sermon and good laugh for the congregation.
Hayden is now talking about Santa and that he is coming and he has to be a good boy. That is a good thing because i need a good boy every day.
Scott and I are doing great. We are going on 1 year and 6 months in September and I could not be happier with him then I am. Hopefully we will be hearing wedding bells soon and buying a house in the next year. Hayden and I alone are too much now for my little house and to add one more would be hard. Scott works for Ideal Homes and they have some of the best houses that I have seen for new home construction. So we have thought about building a house. Where not sure yet because one thing is where is it best for Hayden to go to school. He has three more years at Village Montessori before he starts 1st grade. OMG 1st grade that is freaky..... Time flys when you are having fun.
Well I will get off here now and post more later Robin... I will also post some pictures of things that have gone on with Hayden, Scott and the rest of my family.
