SCARED TO DEATH

Saturday night was the worst night of MY LIFE!! I know that things can happen to anyone but when it happens to you.....you don't forget.

Hayden got a grape stuck in his throat!! OMG could not breath or get it out. Thank the LORD that Scott was still home and had not left yet. I called 911 and Scott went to work on the himlick. I was shaking and could not really think straight. The 911 operator was very calm as I was screaming in his ear to hurry up. (knowing that he can not move the firemen any faster) But still he calmed me down for about 2.5 seconds when Scott finally got the grape out!! I held Hayden who was crying hysterically at this point and I was shaking so badly, I finally lost it!!

The Fire department and EMSA showed up to check Hayden out. He was just fine. Lost some oxygen but nothing server to take him to the hospital. This all happened about 6pm and by 7:15 Hayden was running around Dynamo Gym for a party. He is normal nothing wrong at all.

Now Mom on the other hand I'm still paranoid when he eats, but I just have to breath and relax and know that he is just fine. I thank Scott everyday for doing what he did to save Hayden's life.

That is one thing I DO NOT wish on my worst enemy the feeling that I had and still have. I will be back to normal soon. :)
