It's 2011

So I have not updated in a LONG time. So here is what is going on so far. We had a wonderful Christmas and I got the best Christmas gift ever...Home based business for dummies...yes that is right. Scott got it for me and told me to shut up and do something about it. So I am reading away and trying to do what I can to get The Collage Group up and running. So if you know anyone who needs any party, wedding, baby shower, wedding shower or scrapbooks let me know. I will post when I get the blog for it up and running.

Hayden got a bike from Santa and was so excited. Since I was not working I had been buying small gifts since September so Hayden had a TONE of gifts this year and I wrapped everything. Kids love to unwrap gifts...so I thought Hayden said he was getting tired and did not want to open any more gifts. I think that was a first. Well when you have 13 gifts from Santa and 22 under the tree I think I would get tired too. We made it and enjoyed spending time with the family.

It is now January 10, 2011 and this marks 3 years since Shawn has seen Hayden and since we settled out of court. This is a wonderful day. This time has been wonderful and thought I wish at times things were different I am truly blessed. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would find a man as wonderful as Scott. He had been the best friend and partner I could ever ask for. He is an outstanding father to Hayden and I am blessed for that as well. With this being the 3 year mark will help things when it comes time for Scott to adopt Hayden. Which he wants to after we are married.

Hayden's 5th birthday is in two weeks.. WOW where has the time gone. I can not believe my little baby will be 5. When I was talking to him on New Years Eve that he would have 26 days until his birthday he got so excited. He said mom I'm 4 (holding up 4 fingers) and then on my birthday ill be 5 (letting his thumb out) and says OMG mom I will be 5 and that means I get a thumb! I could not help but laugh and what he was meaning.. kids say the darnedest things.

Well I'm off to making his goddie bags for his birthday (yes I have them already) so that is one less thing I have to worry about. I will post more later. Night all.
