Growing Up!

These last few months have gone by so fast. It seems like yesterday Hayden was coming home from the hospital and now he is walking and talking. I moved him from his old daycare in July to the Village Montessori school and have to say it was the best decision I made. Hayden was learning so much and so fast. One night we were laying in bed and I asked if he wanted to count the starts (glow in the dark stars all over his room) he started counting....1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,14,15 WOW I didn't know he could count that high. (of course skipping a few numbers) He told me he learned it at school. I was impressed. Then about three weeks ago his teacher told me he might be ready for big boy underwear. You got to be kidding me all ready. So I went out and got him 3 pair of spider man underwear....The next day he wore a pair to school and when I picked him up he was back in a pull-up. That's OK he is learning...well now he has almost mastered going to the bathroom by his self and not going on batman, spider man or cars. (he cant get them wet they don't know how to swim, that's what I told him and its working) So it seems that yesterday I was bring home a 9lbs 6oz baby that fit right in my arms so sweetly and today I'm chasing after a 41lbs child that thinks he is a BIG BOY and can do EVERYTHING!!!

Time fly when you are having fun. Just have to remember that in my heart he will always be my baby that fits in my arms so sweetly no matter how old he gets. I know that my mother feels the same way about me... but that's OK ill be her little baby girl and fit in her lap on my 30Th birthday and tell her she still as young as she was the day they brought me home from the hospital.

So even thought Hayden is growing up so fast I treasure every moment I have with him because one day like the wonderful Trace Adkins puts it... "You're gonna' miss this You're gonna' want this back You're gonna' wish these days Hadn't gone by so fast These are some good times So take a good look around You may not know it now
But you're gonna' miss this"
