Working for ARAMARK and being contracted thru the Oklahoma City Public Schools has been wonderful for the last 5 years. This year I participated in a TEAM Campaign for the Oklahoma City Public School Foundation to help raise money for them. The money raised this year was for Student incintives and Great Idea Grants. I was the TEAM Captain for the Service Center. With a lot of pushing and begging and bitching the Service Center raised $3,800 for the foundation. Devon Energy matched all the money raised dollar for dollar. So once all the money thru the District was collected we raised $50K and were Matched $50K. What a great campaign. I was honored to be a part of it.
Monday Lisa Reed with the Foundation invited myself and a guest to the 2008 Wall of Fame Humanitarian Awards Dinner. I was honored to be asked. So Scott and I went and had a wonderful time. I will be helping again with the Foundation as much as I can and will be the TEAM Captain again next year.
