Bowling

I started bowling 6 years ago. I was dating a guy and he asked if I wanted to be on a bowling league. My friends and I said what the heck why not so we joined Ball and Chain at Heritage Lanes. I could not bowl for CRAP and had an average of 80 yea that was not good. By the end of the first year my average was 105 so good improvement. I bowled the following year and did a little better average about 115 then it just has gone up and up and up. I took a year off after Hayden was born and started back up last year with an AWESOME team. Gene (who is on my team) showed me where to stand and where to have my ball hit. This helped me a lot. Now most bowlers just glide the ball down the lane and it does what they want it to do... oh but not me. I stand up (no knee behind me) and CHUNK the ball down the lane... now it hits the lane after the arrows but i get strikes so I don't care. People joke with me about my bowling but don't say much because I still kick the Crap out of them. So this year my average went up from last week to this week. (i bowl every Monday night) Last week I had a 121 average and this week went up to 126 5.10 upgrade in a week. GO ME!!! After last nights games it will jump up again. My goal it to hit my average at least to make sure we have a chance of winning but I seem to always bowl about 10+ pins over my average which is shocking and great all at the same time. Last nights scores were 130,162,135 My highest game this year was the 170 I hit a few weeks ago. The night I did that I told Scott and the rest of my team (Scott bowls on my team) that if I don't hit at least a 112 (this is -10pins of my average that they use if I'm not there) then I was going home because I did not fell good at all.....well the first game that night I hit a 170 my team told me I was not going anywhere..the next two games were good ones to so I made it another night.

I love bowling and enjoy it every Monday night. IF you are interested let me know. Its the Ball and Chain league in Monday nights at Heritage Lanes from 6-9 (give or take) we bowl 33 weeks out of the year and start around Late August or early September and Finnish around end of April first of May. Its a lot of fun and time to get out and have a ball. Oh and you get money back at the end of the year too. Its $14 a week. Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested.
