The baby was crying and its daddy and mommy kissed him and lobed him. (Hayden cant says his "V" they are "B")
The animals were there to watch and bring the baby kisses.
The people on camels came to see why the baby was crying so and bring him things.
This is why Jesus was born and he now sabes us and lobes us and does not cry anymore.
AMEN
I just wish I had a tape recorder to catch how children interpret story's. It was so cute. He then goes on to tell me about Noah and the Ark
God was berry mad
It rained a lot
Noah made a big ship and got animals
Rainbow came
God lobes Noah and the animals
AMEN
It was the best night to read with Hayden. The books that I read while I was pregnant and even after he was born were Good Night Moon and Do you love me Mommy? I have these memorized and now so does Hayden. In Good Night Moon he lets me read the page then says good night to something in his room until the book is over (takes about 5 min to get it all done) then in Do you love me mommy... he knows when to say Forever and Ever and Always (also which is what i say to him ever night when I leave his room) He is so smart that he knows when I skip words in the book. Sometimes if we have already read like 10 books I will read part of the book Example: Deep in the woods by the mossy ponds edge a little duck ask do you love me mommy, (turn the page) and mommy ducks says yes little one I love you (skip the part about the leaves, water etc) Forever and ever and always. He makes me go back and read what I missed. (cant fool this kid anymore)

Don't you just love watching him learn? It is my favorite thing ever...be sure to write all of this stuff down...time is fleeting and when he's 8, you will be grasping in your mind for these memories.
I love how well he knows the bible. I really think that the lack of church is one thing I will regret later on in life for Jadyn. I grew up with it and I have fond memories...we'll see.
You should bring her out to my church. She would love it. Our Childrens wing is wonderful and all about the kids. I teach the 1st graders. Let me know and come join us one sunday and see what you all think. If you want. It's Chapel Hill United Methodis on Hefner and May.
Oh and I am writting everything down for his scrap book..so he will know and I will remember it when I get so old I cant think straight.
