The Simple things in Life!!: Easter and the random things between

Friday night we got a sitter and went to dinner. Then it was off to Russell's for my BFF's birthday. We stayed out for a bit and came home to bed. We had both worked all day and were tired.

Saturday morning Hayden got up about 7:30 about normal for him so that means that I was up too. I was back in the office on the computer when I heard the vacuum going over the tile. Hayden was bringing it to his room because he said that he needed to clean up his room. What a good boy. Scott and I were so happy. Eater this year we went to Catch a Glips resort in Cushing OK. Friends of ours at Church own it and we won it at the Mother's day out auction last year. It is an awesome place to go. We had lunch and the easter egg hunt for the boys. It was a wonderful time with the family. Leigh broke her foot the friday before so she was in a scooter. Thanks to her Husband owning a scooter store. So the boys rode around on the back and had a great time. Here are pictures from Easter with the Henderson's, Oehlert's, Bobzine's and Wegener's

For the last two years ARAMARK has volunteered at the Harn Homestead in April to help with the Oklhaoma Land Run. This was our second year and I just love doing it. This year I did not help with the kids as much because I was being my mother and fixin Lunch for everyone (she was in Mexico) But one of my co-workers had an outfit for me so I dressed up and had so much fun. The kids just got a kick out of the outfits. As Steve and I were heading out the gate Rumble from the Thunder was walking in. Got pictures!! Rumble shot the cannon off at NOON for the run to begin. About 300 kids ran all over the Harn property staiking their claim. When they had finished they all each got a claim sheet from Rumble signed by him too. It was a wonderful day at the Harn Homestead.
