What's Going on....

Bowling last night was good. We should have won all 4 games or at least 3 of 4 games but we all just bit it the first game. Time is ticking and next Monday is Position rounds for placement and MONEY!!! We were in 2nd place yesterday out of 16 teams and hope we can stay there for position rounds on Monday.

Easter was great. We went to church and then out to Catch a Glimpse for our family gathering. The boys had a wonderful time and Hayden crashed in the car on the way home. I would have but had to drive.

My sister broke her foot!! Yes after 26 years she finally broke something. She was getting into bed and tripped. Sober!!! Sober!!! Sober!!! She is doing well. She is lucky that her Husband (that was strange to say) owns a scooter store and she is getting around on a GOGO scooter. They boys had a blast on it over the weekend ridding on the back. I'll keep you posted on how she is doing.

I wrote letters (typed) to my family last week. I know that most people have email but one I don't have email for everyone and the thought of getting a letter in the mail is still nice. I just advised them of how things have been over the last year and to make sure that everyone had my blog address if they have access to Internet. It was nice to write it and also so I have something documented on life the last year.

Scott and I are planning our vacation to Port Aransas. I am so excited to spend a week on the beach doing NOTHING!!! I mean breakfast is at the hotel every morning and then head to the beach for the rest of the day. I have to hit the gym hard so I can look descent in a swim suit. It's such a small town and being before the Season starts most people wont be out when we go. We are going May 11-15 so that is before most schools let out and families are on vacation. My parents will keep Hayden Mon-Wed and Scott's parents will keep him Thur-Sat. It's a long overdue vacation but with everything going on this last year we just have not had any time.

Hayden is doing so well with his glasses. He just amazes me everyday. This past weekend we were out in the yard and he found the hoe in the garage. He wanted to pull weeds out of the flowerbed so I let him. (I need to get it done soon but just didn't want to do it myself) So we were out their and with the ground being so hard I told Hayden that we needed to beat it hard so we could get it out. Once the weeds were out he put them on the bench. He was a great help. Well me not lying to Hayden about what things are called and what we need to do miss the next thing out of him mouth. He told his teacher (when she asked what he did this weekend) Hayden says "I beat a hoe in the yard and put it on the bench" LMAO!!!! Ok so once you get off the floor from laughing just think 3 year old say the darnedest things. It was so funny I just had to laugh. Hayden was so serious about it knowing that he did a good thing and it made Mommy very happy. (still laughing myself)

Friday night is the Mother's Day Out Auction at Chapel Hill. Everyone should come out its from 6:30-8:30. They ALWAYS have great things to auction off. Some of the kids made a cross with footprints on it. So damn cute. Going to have to do it with Hayden and Zeke. They also have scrap booking stuff!! That is what I'm going for. Tickets are $7.00 for pizza dinner before while everyone walks around to bid on all the stuff. Contact the church 751-0755 if you are interested.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I'm off work and to the gym I go for a good workout and tan (got to do that so I don't burn at the beach)

Your Vacay sounds fun...I still have no idea where Port Arnases is...
and it is so cool that Scott's parents will watch Hayden. You have a good guy with a good family. Not all men are good and accepting, so count your blessings!!!
