Ok so my boss talked to me about getting things from people in a timely manner and he told me that I needed to be.....ready get this....."A BITCH" that's right just what I said... Ok so you don't know me that well. just kidding.. no I need to be more of a bitch when it comes to getting things from people around here. Again I thought HMMMM how can I do this. Well I have a sticker that say "saw it, wanted it, had a fit, GOT IT" that is so me and he said I needed to apply that to my work. So I now have a BITCH card that I made to hold up with I am in the roll and to watch out. This is going to be so much fun. I know there are limits to what I can do when it comes to being a bitch to people and getting things but when it comes to everyday laughter in my office... oh this will be great.
I have so much fun with my managers and boss everyday that they come up with stuff and then think oh crap we offended Carly.. You cant offend me. A few weeks ago we went thru CERT training to help with disaster relief and they talked about kotex being a great thing to have in our bag to help stop the bleeding of victims. So at our meeting and on to lunch today things were said (in fun) that cut open wounds or made new ones on all of us (6 men and me) that my boss said that we needed to get an extra box of Kotex just for the office.
Then Dennis tells us that he (a military Sargent) used to put a pad in his hat when he was out in the heat because it was great absorbent for the sweet. I died laughing!!! Oh what a day today has been. I am so happy with my job and those that I work with. I am always wanting to rearranged my office (i work in a warehouse not much you can do) and asked my boss if we get renewed can I change things in our office and make it better looking and functional... he told me why do you have to wait...get on it be a BITCH and do what you need to do.... so tomorrow I get to move furniture and make the ARAMARK office the best looking (creative decorated) office in a nasty warehouse and my boss wont say shit to me about it.
I LOVE WHAT I DO AND ON TOP OF IT ALL I GET TO BE A BITCH AND ITS OK!!!!!

I get to be a bitch at my job every day (and night, just ask Andy!). It really helps make the day go more smoothly!
Funny story: Andy once bit it hard on a bike trail and cut his arm from his wrist to his elbow--and he put a maxipad (lighdays) on it and wrapped it in tape.
